About American Moment 

American Moment is a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying, educating, and credentialing young Americans who will implement public policy that supports strong families, a sovereign nation, and prosperity for all. We believe that the American way of life is worth preserving and passing on to future generations. 

Position Overview 

We are looking for a Research/Operations Intern to join our team for the Fall of 2024. The intern will assist with various aspects of our work, including personnel and policy research, office management, and programming. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the conservative movement and learn from our staff and network of experts. 

This is a paid position. The internship will begin on August 26th.

Responsibilities 
  • Conduct research on current and potential personnel and policy issues, and produce memos, briefs, and reports. 
  • Manage the office operations, including supplies, mail, and equipment. 
  • Assist with the planning and execution of American Moment’s programming, such as the Fellowship for American Statecraft, Foundations of American Statecraft, AMFridays, and various educational events. 
  • Perform data entry and analysis for our database and website. 
  • Support the staff with other administrative and logistical tasks as needed. 
Qualifications 
  • Strong interest in and commitment to the mission and vision of American Moment. 
  • Ability to work in-person at our Capitol Hill offices for 20-30 hours per week. 
  • Working toward or possessing a degree from an accredited university is not a requirement for this position. 
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. 
  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.
